LIZ OAKLEY

Liz Joy Oakley is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher based in London. She specialises in Restorative, Hatha and Vinyasa styles of Yoga. Liz is passionate about helping achieve not just a healthier lifestyle but also a happier lifestyle.

Liz not only works as one of London’s very well respected Yoga teachers but also facilitates workshops and events based around mental health, happiness, nutrition and wellbeing.

If we were to describe her classes in three words it would be: Nurturing, Energising and Lightening

WHAT TO EXPECT

Liz teaches Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga methods. Hatha yoga is known to concentrate on a set of sequences and postures to align the entire body: muscles, bone and skin.

Examples of poses commonly performed whilst practicing Hatha Yoga include:

  • Lotus Pose
  • Corpse Pose
  • Rabbit Pose

In contrast, Vinyasa uses a number of movements that flow into one another, using the breath as an anchor to move from one pose to another.

Examples of Vinyasa poses include:

  • Cat-Cow stretch
  • Sun Salutations
  • Side Plank

PRICING

Yoga sessions can be arranged for either one to one bookings or for groups at a cost of £8 per person or £50 per hour. All bookings are for a minimum of 1 hour per session.
